Badgers Hope to Defeat Purdue at Camp Randall

By J. Brigham | Posted Friday, November 4

Badgers linebacker Chris Borland said that instead of seeing themselves in emergency mode this weekend, the team would be in urgency mode. Borland is referring to the back to back losses the Badgers have incurred, both to unranked teams. Join your Badger football fans at Camp Randall, and help bring them out of their slump.

The past two weeks have been a real letdown for Brett Bielema and his team. To think that the Badgers were BCS bound wouldn't have been too farfetched. After the team dropped two consecutive games following a 6-0 start, that title seems out of reach. A Rose Bowl bid might be off the table as well. Wisconsin returns to Camp Randall this Saturday to face an un-ranked Purdue. They have dropped more than fifteen spots in the polls over the past two weekends, and now stand at twentieth.

Purdue's double-quarterback system has been extremely effective this year, despite their overall record. Caleb TerBush and Robert Marve allow the team to get be versatile in both the air and on the ground. In their loss to Michigan last week, the pair combined for 17-27 pass attempts and two touchdowns. Even more impressive is TerBush's running abilities. During the Michigan game, he ran three times for thirty-eight yards. He has racked up 180 total rushing yards and a touchdown so far.
